Spotted Lanternfly Has Arrived in Chautauqua County

The invasive Spotted Lanternfly was reported in Chautauqua County on April 26th is Stow. This insect feeds on over 70 species of plants, including grapes, fruit trees, and maples, and its sugary excretions can lead to mold growth and attract other pests. It’s a major threat to the agricultural industry and our enjoyment of outdoors.
