About the event

Join us for our Winter Seed & Sow Workshop on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 5:30 – 6:30 PM. We’re excited to welcome Guest Instructor Anna Pingitore, owner and grower of Choose Violets.
During this hands-on workshop, participants will learn creative and effective winter sowing techniques for native plant seeds, including why cold stratification is important and how winter conditions can encourage seeds to grow into strong, resilient plants. You’ll leave with practical skills and planted seeds ready to continue growing with the seasons.
A $5.00 admission fee (cash, check, or Venmo) at the door covers supplies.
Limited enrollment, registration is required. If you register and cannot attend, please notify us asap so we can open your seat to someone else. info@chautauquawatershed.org
