About the event
Join us for a family-friendly weekend celebrating and supporting local nonprofits and small businesses working to protect local ecosystems. Meet the people and organizations actively conserving our regions lands, waters, and wildlife. Learn how you can help, and enjoy outdoor activities for all ages.
Special plant offers: Royal Fern will offer discounts and giveaways on plants (and possibly gift-shop items) for guests who donate to any of the nonprofits.
Live animal presentations: Wildlife groups will bring animals and experts to share stories about care, rescue, and conservation.
Expert talks: Dr. Jonathan Townsend presents on bats and, weather permitting, will demonstrate acoustic bat-recording equipment around sunset on Friday.
Guided nature walks: Learn about local plants and invasive species on guided walks led by PRISM on Friday.
Family activities: Scavenger hunt, kids’ crafts, and nature exploration suitable for all ages.
