About the event
EDIT: We are at capacity for the number of participants for our Mother's Day Wildflower Walk. You can still RSVP if you would like to get on a wait list in case we have a cancellation.
Join us for our annual Mother’s Day Wildflower Walk on Sunday, May 14th at 2pm at the Bentley Nature Preserve!
Local naturalist Jack Gulvin will lead the walk and seek out flowers, ferns and other natural treasures commonly encountered in the region in springtime. The walk will follow the beautiful Pamela A. Westrom Wildflower Trail, a picturesque loop trail that traverses foot bridges over a stream that weaves through the property.
The preserve is located on Bentley Avenue off Fluvanna Avenue Extension/Route 430 in Jamestown. Participants should dress for the weather and possible wet or muddy conditions typical of a wooded wetland.
Space is limited, and advance registration is required. To reserve a spot, call 716-664-2166 or email info@chautauquawatershed.org with a number of participants and a contact name and phone number.
