About the event
Join us for a guided paddle through the Chautauqua Lake outlet and onto the Chadakoin River and learn about our wonderful waterways. This is a leisurely 3.25 mile kayak/canoe paddle with the option of adding 1.5 miles.
Registrants should meet at Celoron Park, where we will launch our boats. When we get to McCrae Point, anyone interested is welcome to continue paddling the Chadakoin River into Jamestown to the basin (behind comedy center/train station) and back to McCrae Point (0.75 mi each way). We'll have a shuttle at McCrae Point to bring paddlers and kayaks/canoes back to Celoron Park.
Even though we will have a few extra kayaks available, participants are encouraged to bring their own canoe/kayak. Shuttle service will be provided to bring you back to your car. Please note that weather and water level can vary dramatically from day to day, so please check back closer to…
